02 / ENGINEERING PROCESS

From question
to evidence.

Follow a staged work method and distinguish what was verified in historical records from what remains open.

  1. 01

    Reconcile

Compare historical inventory notes with observed infrastructure state.

  2. 02

    Partition

Separate compute, network, quorum, SAN paths and backup failure domains.

  3. 03

    Test narrowly

Check host and path loss, quorum behavior and the selected guest recovery.

  4. 04

    Gate deployment

Complete backup and recovery implementation, and separately validate any remaining network, maintenance and overall production-readiness gates.

BACKUP & RECOVERY / 2026 UPDATE

From backup
to recovery.

The backup and recovery phase is complete, per the project owner's latest update. This public walkthrough is a conceptual lifecycle, not a screenshot or export of live production settings.

01 / PROTECT

Workloads

Determine which workloads and data need protection; their exact inventory remains unpublished.

02 / CAPTURE

Backup jobs

The backup implementation has been completed. Exact job schedules and platform settings are not disclosed here.

03 / RETAIN

Recovery data

Separate the protected source from recovery material. The actual storage destination and retention configuration are not asserted without source evidence.

04 / RESTORE

Recovery workflow

The earlier report recorded a saved backup and an isolated restore. The project owner now confirms completion of the broader backup work.

EARLIER DOCUMENTATIONBackup + isolated restore reported

From the 18 October readiness report, without an independent rerun in this portfolio review.

NEW PROJECT UPDATEBackup and recovery phase finished

Direct project-owner confirmation received on 18 October 2026; supersedes the old pending-backup status.

STILL UNDOCUMENTED HEREProduct, policy and metrics

Specific backup platform, repository topology, covered guest count, retention settings, RPO/RTO and latest acceptance logs have not been supplied for publication.

REVIEW / 01

Recorded report

The earlier readiness report recorded cluster, shared storage, quorum, scoped HA recovery, a saved backup and an isolated restore. The later backup-completion status is based on the owner's direct update on 18 October 2026.

REVIEW / 02

Backup work completed

The project owner confirms that the backup and recovery scope was completed after the earlier readiness report. The exact backup software, retention policy, independent-storage configuration and latest restore evidence have not been inspected during this portfolio update. Network and maintenance acceptance are separate questions.

Technical direction, physical coordination, diagnostic review and staged validation, with AI-assisted implementation acknowledged.

All diagrams are generalized technical illustrations. No real production identifiers, security policies, internal network topology or credentials are published. Product photography represents commercial models, not specific installed units.
